cPanel/WHM

The cPanel/WHM module allows you to establish a connection to your cPanel or WHM hosting panels through SSL Chef.

Authentication

You can use one of the following methods to connect to your cPanel or WHM account:

Connection via API Token

You can establish a connection by generating and entering an API Token for your username. This is the recommended method for security purposes.

Connection via Password

Alternatively, you can also establish a connection using your username and password.

Connection Test

When adding a connection, the system automatically performs a connection test. This test includes:

• Checking whether the server can be accessed with the information you provided
• Performing an authorization test to determine whether SSL management can be performed

Possible Errors

If the information is incorrect or there is an authorization issue:

• The relevant error message will be displayed on screen
• The connection will not be added to the system
