Endpoints
The Endpoints tab displays the list of endpoints created for the domain. Endpoints are modules that provide automatic installation of SSL certificates to supported environments.
Endpoint List
The following information is displayed for each entry in the endpoint list:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Endpoint Name | The identifying name of the endpoint |
| Connection | The connection associated with the endpoint |
| Module Info | The endpoint module being used (cPanel, Plesk, Manual, etc.) |
| Endpoint Status | Whether the endpoint is active or inactive |
| Installation Status | The SSL certificate installation status |
What is an Endpoint?
Endpoints are modules that contain the automatic installation procedures for SSL certificates. After an SSL certificate is created for a domain, an endpoint must be defined for the certificate to be automatically installed on the relevant server.
Supported Endpoint Modules
cPanel
Provides automatic SSL certificate installation on cPanel hosting panels. After defining your cPanel connection, you can fully automate certificate installation by creating an endpoint.
Plesk
Provides automatic SSL certificate installation on Plesk panels. You can automate the installation process by creating an endpoint through your Plesk connection.
Manual
The Manual endpoint module can be used for environments not supported by the system. With this module:
- You can enter a note about your custom system infrastructure
- After your SSL certificate is automatically regenerated, the system sends a reminder email containing this note
- You can then proceed with the manual installation process for the SSL certificate
Endpoint Management
You can perform the following operations from this screen:
- Create New Endpoint — Define a new endpoint for the domain
- Deactivate Endpoint — Set an existing endpoint to inactive status
- Remove Endpoint — Remove endpoints that are no longer needed
