Order Management

Order Management

Order management is the screen where you can centrally track all SSL certificate orders placed through SSL Chef. Unlike the order list within domain management, this screen displays orders for all domains in a single list.

Order List

On the order management screen, all SSL orders associated with your account are listed in a detailed table. The following information is displayed for each order:

Field Description
Order No Unique tracking number for the order
Domain The domain the order belongs to
SSL Certificate The SSL certificate product ordered
Order Date The date the order was created
Amount The order amount
Order Status The current status of the order

Advanced Search

The order list includes advanced search and filtering capabilities. With these features, you can:

  • Search by domain name
  • Filter by order status
  • Narrow down by date range
  • Filter by SSL product
If you have a large number of orders, use the advanced search feature to quickly find the order you are looking for.

Order Statuses

Your orders can be in one of the following statuses:

Status Description
Pending Order received, processing has not started yet (usually due to insufficient balance)
Processing Order is being processed, submitted to the certificate authority
Awaiting DCV Waiting for domain validation
Completed Certificate has been successfully obtained and installed
Cancelled Order has been cancelled
Failed An error occurred while processing the order
Orders in Pending status are automatically processed as soon as you add funds. There is no need to create the order again.

Overview

The order management screen provides a general summary of your SSL Chef usage:

  • Total order count — The total number of orders on your account
  • Active orders — Tracking of orders currently being processed
  • Completed orders — Certificate orders that have been successfully installed
  • Order history — A complete record of all your past orders

This screen is especially useful for users managing multiple domains and servers, providing a single point of monitoring for all SSL operations.
