Plesk
The Plesk module allows you to establish a connection to your Plesk hosting panel through SSL Chef.
Requirements
For SSL Chef to manage SSL on the Plesk panel, it requires a Reseller or Administrator account. User-role accounts on Plesk panel do not have permission to manage SSL via API.
Authentication
Enter your username and password to connect to the Plesk panel.
Connection Test
When adding a connection, the system automatically performs a connection test. This test includes:
- Checking whether the server can be accessed with the information you provided
- Performing an authorization test to determine whether SSL management can be performed
Possible Errors
If the information is incorrect or there is an authorization issue:
- The relevant error message will be displayed on screen
- The connection will not be added to the system
If the connection cannot be added, check the error message. For authorization issues, you can contact your service provider.
