Overview

The Overview tab in the contact management screen is where you can view and manage the details of the contact information.

Displayed Information

The following information is available on this screen:

  • Contact details — Contact details such as first name, last name, email, phone number
  • Notes — Notes added to the contact information (if any)

Deleting a Contact

You can delete the contact information from this screen.

Important: Deleted contact information is not permanently removed from the database — it is retained as a log detail. However, it will no longer be displayed on the screen.

  • If you previously placed an order with this contact information, you will be able to view the contact information in the related order but you will not be able to manage it.

Updating a Contact

When you update contact information, the following process takes place:

  1. The existing contact information is marked as deleted
  2. A new contact information record is created
  3. SSL certificates created from this point forward will use the new contact information
This structure ensures your contact information history is preserved. Contact information used in past orders remains unchanged, while new orders proceed with the updated contact information.
